Dear Parishioners, As we end this very unique Christmas season and move into Ordinary Time in the Church, we celebrate The Feast of The Baptism of the Lord this weekend. The Son of God goes before John to be baptized. Jesus' baptism is not for His own sake, but for our purification. May we approach the Eucharist in thanksgiving this weekend as we participate in Mass. We offer thanksgiving to God for sending His only Son to cleanse us from sin and bring us the salvation of eternal life.

The St. Mary's 2021 Gala is just one month away! Our raffle has kicked off and our online auction is coming together, but there's lots to be done to make this Gala a success. We need everyone to pitch in and pull together to reach the finish line.
How Can I Help?
Buy a raffle ticket. Better yet, buy 5! Encourage your friends and family to buy some as well. We could all use a windfall in 2021--why not start the year off with a bang and a $3,000 bonus! Use this link to buy your tickets HERE.
Donate to the auction using the Amazon Wish List. We've made it super easy to help out. Just click on the link and put a few items in your cart. They will ship directly to the school and your donations are tax-deductible. No fuss; no muss, but a huge help to the school HERE.
Donate a basket of goodies of your own creation. Wine and cheese baskets, craft beers, favorite whiskeys, rums, or other cocktails are always popular items, but they aren't available through Amazon. Ditto for unique products or services you can offer. (Are you a caterer? Do you have a beach condo? Can you perform landscaping magic? If so, we need you and your talents or treasures.) Items can be dropped off at the school during morning pickup. Just label them "Gala donation" and be sure to put them in a sturdy box if there are breakables inside. Please give St. Mary’s info on the donated item and to ensure you get credit for the donation, and may deduct it on your taxes HERE.
Be a sponsor. There are lots of perks of being a sponsor, depending on the level of giving: advertising for your business, your company's link on the St. Mary's website, your name on the kids' Field Day t-shirts, awesome publicity and increased profits. The sky's the limit--won't you please contribute? You can use this link: HERE.
Spread the word! Tell your friends and family, give a shout out on Facebook and other social media. Ask others to donate, sponsor, buy raffle tickets, and participate in the auction. Word of mouth is a powerful ally, so let's pass it on!!
Bid, bid, bid!!! The auction opens on February 3rd and is live through February 6th. Free shipping is available on some items (out-of-area only) so encourage your out-of-town network to join in the fun, too.
This is our biggest fundraiser of the year, and the more people participate, the more successful it will be for St. Mary's School.
The Gala is coming--please pitch in and pass it on, because
WE'RE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER!!!
