Happy Feast Day!- On Saturday, August 22, the Church celebrates the Queenship of the Blessed Virgin Mary, which is our parish feast day. To allow parishioners to celebrate together, Msgr. Amey has exercised his ecclesiastical privledge as Pastor to transfer the celebration of the Feast to Sunday, August 23.
The readings for the Titular Feast Mass are Isaiah 9:1-6; Psalm 113:1-8; Ephesians 1:3-6, 11-12; and Luke 1:26-38.

Young Adult Virtual Book Club: Disarming Beauty-“Regardless of the human situation, something unforeseen is always possible, something unexpected, which makes us regain the sense of ourselves.” So said Father Julián Carrón, the global leader of the Catholic movement Communion and Liberation (CL) and author of the groundbreaking book Disarming Beauty. Young Adults ages 18-35 are invited to join the new virtual book club for Disarming Beauty on Monday, August 31, from 8:30 to 9:30 pm. We'll be meeting every other Monday this fall at the same time. CCD Volunteers Needed: St. Mary's Religious Education Program needs a few new CCD teachers and volunteers for the 2020-21 school year. Adult and teen volunteers are needed for both classroom and non-classroom roles to assist with social distancing procedures. Training will be provided and all that is necessary to volunteer is a strong Catholic faith, and a desire to share it with the children of our parish!
