Dear Parishioners,Today is the Feast of the Holy Guardian Angels. How perfect for the feast to occur today; tomorrow 23 boys and girls of St. Mary's Parish will be receiving their long awaited First Holy Communion. Their personal guardian angel has been guiding the students to Jesus in the Eucharist throughout this preparation time. Some may have even personally named their guardian angel. Let us all see this as an opportunity to ask our personal guardian angel to keep us safe from harm and in good health. Your guardian angel can be the armor needed from everyday distractions that pushes Christ from the center of our lives. And thank your guardian angel for the daily successes such as no lines at the grocery store or post office, a safe drive to and from an errand or destination, and beautiful weather for an outside event.
Daily Mass on Saturday, October 3 will be held in Our Lady's Chapel because of the First Communion preparations in the Main Church. Come to church early if you plan to come to Mass. Limited seating!
Confessionswill be offered Saturday, October 3, 1 pm (2 priests) and Wednesday, October 7, 5 pm (1 priest) in the Main Church.
Pre-recorded Sunday Mass is available on Saturdays at 5:00 pm on our parish's Facebook page, (@stmarysrockville), Twitter feed, (@stmaryrockville) and YouTube channel. When participating in the Mass, remember to fast as you would do when attending church in person and pray a spiritual communion prayer as Father Fields is receiving Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament in the liturgy.
