Dear Parishioners, This Father’s Day weekend, we ask for the prayers of St. Joseph. As we celebrate the gift of fathers and honor St. Joseph, we also recognize that Father’s Day can be a difficult holiday for many. Please know of our prayers for the intentions brought to your heart by this Father's Day; especially for the names offered on the Father's Day envelopes.
The weekly bulletin has returned in print form! Pick one up as you exit the church following the dismissal of Mass. The online version is available
HERE.
The Second Collection this Sunday is the monthly collection for the benefit of the Parish's Education Fund. Thank you for your generosity.
Interested in Sharing the Catholic Faith?St. Mary's is searching for a few new CCD teachers for next school year and could use the help of faithful Catholics like you! Adult and teen volunteers are needed to lead our Sunday morning classes for children from Kindergarten through High School. Training and resources will be provided for all volunteers throughout the year. Please contact Thomas Patchan to volunteer or ask any questions about this exciting opportunity at [email protected] or 301-762-8750. Please help us share the gift of our Catholic Faith with our children!
"Do not be afraid of the radicalness of God's demands. If He asks much of you it is because He knows you can give much."
- St. John Paul the Great
This weekend will be the last Sunday we offer a pre-recorded Sunday Mass on YouTube. We look forward to more parishioners in-person at our Sunday Masses next Sunday. The Sunday and Holy Day obligation is restored next weekend in the Archdiocese of Washington.
Some St. Mary's reminders with the changes to the pandemic guidelines:

* Social distancing is still required between individuals from separate households for indoor gatherings. However, the social distancing will be reduced to 3 feet in the pews.
* All pews are available for seating.
