A local realtor and self-described amateur photographer recently took the photo above. He was willing to share his beautiful image showcasing the Risen Jesus and Our Lady’s Chapel with St. Mary’s Church. We are grateful for his kindness. If any amateur photographers may be willing to share images of St. Mary’s they encounter, it would be appreciated. Pictures could be shared from all seasons, in various lighting situations, statutes, inside and outside our churches are just a few ideas. Tell your teens!- Online St. Mary's Youth Group to begin this Sunday, August 30th, 7 pm: All rising high school students are invited to join us as our new small group begins to meet by Zoom video call! Young Adult Virtual Book Club : Disarming Beauty- “Regardless of the human situation, something unforeseen is always possible, something unexpected, which makes us regain the sense of ourselves.” So said Father Julián Carrón, the global leader of the Catholic movement Communion and Liberation (CL) and author of the groundbreaking book Disarming Beauty . Young Adults ages 18-35 are invited to join the new virtual book club for Disarming Beauty on Monday, August 31, from 8:30 to 9:30 pm . We'll be meeting every other Monday this fall at the same time. CCD Volunteers Needed :  St. Mary's Religious Education Program needs a few new CCD teachers and volunteers for the 2020-21 school year. Adult and teen volunteers are requested for virtual learning. Training will be provided. CCD Registration for 2020-2021 Now Open: Registration for classes for St. Mary's religious education program for children from Kindergarten - High School is now open for the 2020-2021 school year! First Grade through High School will meet through online video calls led by CCD teachers this school year. Registration forms have been mailed to last year's CCD families, and are also available HERE. You may also register by email at [email protected] .
