Young Adult Virtual Book Club: Disarming Beauty-“Regardless of the human situation, something unforeseen is always possible, something unexpected, which makes us regain the sense of ourselves.” So said Father Julián Carrón, the global leader of the Catholic movement Communion and Liberation (CL) and author of the groundbreaking book Disarming Beauty. Young Adults ages 18-35 are invited to join the new virtual book club for Disarming Beauty on Monday, August 31, from 8:30 to 9:30 pm. We'll be meeting every other Monday this fall at the same time. CCD Volunteers Needed: St. Mary's Religious Education Program needs a few new CCD teachers and volunteers for the 2020-21 school year. Adult and teen volunteers are requested for virtual learning. Training will be provided. All that is necessary to volunteer is a strong Catholic faith, and a desire to share it with the children of our parish! CCD Registration for 2020-2021 Now Open: Registration for classes for St. Mary's religious education program for children from Kindergarten - High School is now open for the 2020-2021 school year! First Grade through High School will meet through online video calls led by CCD teachers this school year.
